Samm is pursuing her Master of Divinity at Harvard Divinity School where she is currently in her second year of study. Originally from St. Louis, she recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Social Justice and Religion at Eastern Kentucky University, where she competed on the soccer team for four years. Samm is also a member of Proclaim, an ELCA community of LGBTQ+ identifying seminarians and clergy. Her experience working at a Public Health Clinic in Kentucky and on Sustainability projects in Limpopo, South Africa with Blessman Ministries has led to her interests in mental health and prison education.
